1. WHO RUNS THIS
This website is operated by Joseph Luke Condren, a freelance ecommerce consultant based in England. If you use this site or hire my services, these terms apply.
2. WHAT I DO
I provide ecommerce consulting services including:
QuickFire services — single-page audits (P3, CRO, CTA, C3, PDP Catalogue Sweep, PDP DeepDive, Retention KickStart)
DeepForge services — full-funnel audits and research (P6, CRO x 1F, CTA x 6+, Full Retention Audit)
Standalone services — one-off purchases (PDP Blueprint, PDP Youprint, P6 Lite Research)
Retainer services — ongoing monthly support (4 hours/day, 1 client max)
Fixed project services — defined scope, one price, one deadline
Service descriptions, deliverables, and pricing are described on this website and in individual service agreements.
3. HOW TO HIRE ME
Enquiry — You contact me through the website or email.
Scope — We agree on what you need, deliverables, timeline, and price.
Agreement — I send a service agreement (contract) for you to sign.
Payment — You pay the agreed deposit or full amount (depending on service type).
Delivery — I deliver the work as described in the agreement.
Sign-off — You review, request changes (up to 2 rounds), and approve.
I don't start work until I've received payment and a signed agreement.
4. PRICING AND PAYMENT
All prices are in GBP (£) and exclude VAT (I'm not VAT registered).
Payment terms are 15 days from invoice date.
Late payments may result in paused work or revoked portal access.
If I haven't received feedback within 2 weeks of delivering work, I'll assume you're happy and invoice for the remaining balance.
5. WHAT YOU GET
Research Deliverables
Google Doc (pageless format), shareable link
Delivered via client portal and/or email
6 months of portal access after project completion
After 6 months, portals are archived and access is removed
Implementation Work
Staging environment builds (PDP Youprint)
Copy-paste instructions for elements that can't be directly edited
Design notes for your dev team (if needed)
Retainer Work
Up to 4 hours of daily work
Communication via agreed channel (Slack, email, calls)
Weekly status updates
Monthly review calls
6. REVISIONS AND CHANGES
All services include:
Initial delivery of the complete deliverable
Two subsequent rounds of changes
Changes beyond two rounds, or changes to the original scope, are treated as a new project with new pricing.
7. COMPETITOR EXCLUSIVITY
Upon completion and full payment, I agree not to work with your direct competitors for:
QuickFire, DeepForge, Standalone, Fixed Project: 1 month from final delivery
Retainer: Length of work + 1 year
"Direct competitors" means businesses in the same market segment, targeting the same customer profile, with overlapping product offerings. This will be defined in your service agreement.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
You own the work once full payment is received.
Until then, copyright remains with me.
I reserve the right to display completed work in my portfolio or as a case study (unless you tell me not to).
Research is based on publicly available data and data you provide. I don't claim ownership of your data.
9. WHAT I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR
I provide research, recommendations, and implementation work. I'm not responsible for:
Results after you implement my work (execution is on you)
Lost profits, lost savings, or business damages arising from use of my work
Third-party claims related to your use of my work
Missed deadlines caused by late payments, slow feedback, or delayed materials
Circumstances beyond my control (emergencies, natural disasters, etc.)
If metrics don't change after implementing my research, it may be the execution — the pain points are backed by data. I won't let you struggle alone, but I can't guarantee results.
10. CANCELLATION
Fixed projects: If you cancel, I retain your deposit. You may owe a "kill fee" based on work completed.
Retainers: Either party may terminate with 30 days' written notice. Work completed up to termination is invoiced in full.
Standalone: No cancellation — these are one-off purchases delivered in full.
11. DATA AND PRIVACY
Any data you provide (analytics, customer data, business metrics) is used solely for completing your project.
I don't share, sell, or store your data beyond what's needed for delivery.
Research is based on publicly available data (reviews, forums, competitor websites) and data you provide.
I don't access private customer data unless explicitly granted permission.
12. CLIENT PORTALS
Portals are hosted on Cloudflare Pages.
Access is granted for 6 months after project completion.
After 6 months, portals are archived and access is removed.
Download anything you need before the 6-month mark.
13. WEBSITE CONTENT
Content on this website is for informational purposes only.
I make every effort to keep information accurate and up to date, but I don't guarantee it.
Testimonials are from real clients but results vary. Past performance doesn't guarantee future results.
14. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by English law. Any disputes will be handled in English courts.
15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
I may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Your continued use of the site means you accept the new terms.
